The authorities of the Isle of Capri have established that as of January 1st 2012 a city tax of EURO 4 per person per night will be charged for clients staying at 4 stars hotel on the island. This city tax is not included in the rate of the room and is an additional local governmental charge, has to be paid directly at the hotel in cash only. The city tax applies for the first five (5) nights only and children up to ten (10) years old are exempted.
